It’s been a busy few months for the Chicago Area Chapter of RCI, Inc. (CAC-RCI)!
On April 20, 2018, CAC-RCI conducted RCI’s Architectural Sheet Metal Flashing Design Educational Program. Messrs. Remo Capolino and Russell Raymond, both instrumental in developing the course, were the instructors for the 25 attendees of the one day class. The day was filled with dialogue between instructors and attendees, as well as lessons learned shared by many different parties during the day. Attendees earned 8.0 CEH’s for the course.
CAC-RCI also held its Spring Program on Friday, May 18, 2018 at The Village Links of Glen Ellyn in suburban Chicago. The event was attended by approximately 40 CAC-RCI members, speakers, guests, and exhibitors. Table top exhibitors included Tecta America, Versico, Hunter Panels, and Soprema. The first program presentation was “Exterior Building Maintenance and Window Cleaning Access” by Messrs. Craig Marifke and Andy Martin of ZS LLC. The second presentation was “Tapered Insulation Roof Systems” by Mr. Rick Mockler of Hunter Panels. Both presentations were well received by the group, as evidenced by the level of engagement throughout the room. Attendees earned 2.0 CEH’s for the program.
